Shut Off Valves

In a properly designed home plumbing system, It should not  be needed to turn off the water to the whole house just to fix a leak in a bathroom or kitchen faucet, but that's exactly what many homeowners must do. Why? Because they don't have shutoff valves located at every sink.

Home owners should consider having  a valve installed on every water supply tube. The valves will allow you to shut off the water to one sink without stopping water flow to others. The shut off valves also provide a quick way to turn off the water in the event of a cracked fitting or damaged supply tube.

Aries Plumbing can make quick work out of  adding compression shutoff valves to an existing sink. In most cases you won't even need to replace the supply tubes that run from the valves to the faucet. However, if the tubes are corroded or kinked, they can be quickly replaced usually with braided stainless-steel supply lines

If you would like to have shut off valves installed at any or all of your existing sinks or in your remodel project, call Aries Plumbing today.
